The Naknek River in King Salmon, Alaska is our home water, it flows out of Naknek Lake and Katmai National park.
The Naknek is home to all five species of Pacific Salmon including: King, Silver, Sockeye, Chum and Pink. Throughout the season we use a variety of methods to catch salmon, trolling, casting, and flyfishing. Naknek River King Salmon fishing is generally done from the boat because the river is quite large. For Silver Salmon fishing we do some wading as well as fish from the boat. Silver salmon flyfishing can be phenominal, these fish are very receptive to fly presentations.
